Due to our students missing so much schooling over the last few months, we have decided that it would not be prudent for them to miss another day of learning for an end of term House day. As a result, the House day planned for Friday 26th March will be postponed. Instead, students will have a FULL day of normal lessons with school closing at 2.50pm/2.55pm and not 12pm as would normally happen on the last day of term.
We are so looking forward to welcoming our students back next week.
On Monday 8th March we welcome Years 7, 11, 12 and 13 and on Tuesday 9th March (all other years).
Fearnhill School is looking forward to Celebrating National Careers Week next week, 1st-6th March.
Please read the following as a guide to how National Careers Week can support your young person/people both now and in the future through the world of Careers Education. Explore the activities and resources available and open the doors to the amazing opportunities that lie ahead.
Fearnhill staff and students warmly invite you to join us for our first virtual Christmas Concert. Unfortunately, performing to a live audience is not an option at the moment. However, our students have been working hard in the background practicing and rehearsing in music and drama and are proud to present this virtual concert for you all to enjoy.
On Wednesday, 4th November we held our Post 16 Information Evening as a virtual event for Year 11 students.
On Thursday 17th September 2020 we had our first virtual Open Evening here at Fearnhill.

Fearnhill Open Evening will be virtual this year. Join us via a link on the school website at 6.30pm on Thursday 17th September, to hear the headteacher’s speech and have the opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A session with a panel of students. A series of short videos will also be available over the coming weeks, to introduce each faculty in the school and allow you to experience ‘a day in the life’ of a Fearnhill student.
We are delighted to be fully open for the new term and to welcome our students back to a busy and productive autumn.
Everyone at Fearnhill has risen to the challenge of the last few months with remarkable commitment and determination.
This Friday, 17th July we will be running our House Day – a fun filled Fearnhill tradition that takes place on the last morning of each term.
