Cyber-bullying is when a person or a group of people threaten, tease, embarrass or abuse someone else by using ICT
The following are types of cyberbullying:
- Threats sent to your mobile phone;
- Public posting about you or of your work without your permission;
- Being excluded online for discussions or social groups;
- Theft of your password;
Abuse and name calling.
If you are being bullied, be sure to tell someone so that it can be stopped. You can tell a teacher or a parent. If you don't feel you can tell anyone you know, children and young people can contact Childline: website:- www.childline.org.uk telephone number: 0800 1111
The important thing is that you tell someone about it, it's not a problem that can just go away.
