Fearnhill is a school at the heart of the Letchworth community and we enjoy many links to different groups. We have a parents group, the ‘Friends of Fearnhill’, who organise social and fundraising events for students. Please contact admin@fearnhill.herts.sch.uk to be put in contact with the parent group who lead FoF; they will be delighted to hear from you. Our Sports Centre hosts a range of clubs and activities after school and at weekends. We work closely with our feeder primary schools; you can find out more on our ‘Primary Links’ page.
We also support a range of charities, both locally and on a wider scale, and each year students in each of our school houses (Gorst, Pearsall, Neville and Howard) choose a charity to support. During 2017-18 we have supported:
Gorst: Crossroads Care, Hertfordshire North https://crossroadshn.org.uk/
Howard: Herts Young Homeless https://localgiving.org/charity/hertsyounghomeless/
Neville: The James Harpur Trust adamharpur@klmsports.com or loz_harp2@hotmail.co.uk
Pearsall: Jackie’s Drop-in Centre www.jackiesdropin.org.uk/
We also collect regularly for the Letchworth Food Bank; their latest newsletter can be read here.
