Assessment Arrangements for Years 11 and 13

Detailed information about the assessment arrangements for awarding GCSEs, BTECs and A Levels in individual subjects has been sent to parents of  Year 11 and 13 students.  If your child is in one of these year groups, the information can also be found here. I hope you have also had the opportunity to read the guidance released by JCQ (the Joint Council for Qualifications) that was sent to parents and can be found here. Year 11 have worked hard during the ‘assessment window’, and we are organising follow up tasks over the next few weeks to ensure a strong evidence base for the awarding of Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs).  Year 13 start their ‘window’ from Monday 26th April and the same will apply as teachers work with students to ensure the fairest grades possible can be awarded.
