Fearnhill Celebrates Pride with Pride!

Last month at Fearnhill we marked Pride Month with a competition. The idea for the competition came from Macie, one of our Anti-Bullying Alliance members. Here’s her report of how the competition went:

“As June was Pride Month, the Fearnhill anti-bullying alliance decided that it would be a nice idea to decorate the form doors in celebration.  It was really nice to see all the effort everyone put in into making their doors bright and beautiful in celebration of the LGBTQ+ Community.  I especially liked seeing that every form had their own little individual touch which showed the thought that they had all put in.

I decided that the winners of the competition were 8G due to their neat design that still had a bold and stand out title.  I also loved their fortune tellers that they made, which read messages like, “you are brave” and “you are loved”.  I thought it was a really lovely thing to have as it just echoes the message that ‘love is love’!

Thank you everyone for taking part! “
