Students at Fearnhill are celebrating  stunning  GCSE results and A-level Results for the second year running

Headteacher, Jed Whelan says
“We are delighted with the school’s performance.jed whelan gcse results
We are thrilled with this year’s GCSE results, which are absolutely stunning. 56% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths, which is a 6% increase on last year’s results, and above our target set by the Local Authority. 72% of students achieved 5 A* - C grades in all subjects.
Six Year 11 students each achieved a minimum of  8 A* grades and 21 students achieved or bettered their target grades in every one of their subjects.
At A level the school maintained its 2011 achievemnent of a 99% pass rate. Students continue to gain access to the Oxbridge, Russell Group and other top universities.”

The school can clearly demonstrate a three year rising trend in its examination results
